Pleasley Parish Council usually meets at 7.00 pm on the first Monday of the month except when this day falls on a bank holiday - in this instance the meeting is held on the 2nd Monday of the month There also is no meeting in August. Meetings alternate between the Verney Institute, Newboundmill Lane, and New Houghton Community Centre, 13 Rotherham Road (opposite Crompton St). See website for meeting updates . Agendas/Minutes are published online & on the Parish Council’s Notice Boards at the Verney Institute and New Houghton Community Centre. A 15 minute session is reserved at the start of the meeting for members of the public to make comments to the Parish Council.

(a) Date of announcement Tuesday 30th June 2026. Each year the smaller authority’s Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR) needs to be reviewed by an external auditor appointed by Smaller Authorities’ Audit Appointments Ltd. The unaudited AGAR has been published with this notice.
