A weekend of great weather with hundreds of visitors and residents as Pleasley Parish Council held the 2026 Scarecrow Festival on Saturday 18th & Sunday 19th July 2026.
The Verney was open on Saturday & Sunday for residents and visitors to pick up the scarecrow programmes with the Verney providing refreshments including free tea/coffee/cake/squash. Thank you to all who supported our Tombola and raffle stalls. St Michael’s Church and Pleasley Nightingale Women’s Institute also provided stalls including a ‘Build Our Church’ Activity to help raise funds for their roof repairs.
